My Dream Holiday!!!!!
"Ooooohhhhh! mum do I have to get up I'm so comfortable in here!" I groaned. Mum ignored me. I sighed and reached over to my bedside cabinet fumbling around for the light switch. Finally my fingers grasped the little thing and golden light flooded the large room. Stiff and aching I tried to and failed to get out of bed. Despite having to get up early in the morning I loved this life. Relaxing in a large house by a beach with golden sand and a magnificent sparkling ocean in a far away land I don't even know the name of.
At last I managed to get up. My head felt extremely groggy and I limped gingerly over to the plump armchair by desk before crashing down into it and letting my head loll back onto the head rest. Just as my eyes were closing the door creaked open and my personal assistant came stumbling into the room hefting a heavy breakfast tray piled high with scrambled eggs, fried eggs, sausages, bacon, french toast and glass's of milk and juice. "Put it on the desk please" I croaked before closing my eyes again. The assistant walked briskly over to the desk and placing it there before bowing his way out of the room.I squinted up at it. My tummy gave a low grumble. I reached out and grabbed a piece of greasy bacon with before quickly devouring it. I attacked the rest of the food tray, ate and drank my fill before standing up, getting dressed and then striding outside to my balcony. I leaned on the railing and gazed out to sea, then down to our private swimming pool. Best way to wake up and I jumped, twisting into a dive in mid air before slicing into the water. A fresh wave of energy surged through me and i swam up to the surface feeling like I've never been better. I paddled over to side before hoisting myself up and sitting on the edge. I grabbed a towel and started to try and dry myself but I soon gave. So I stood up and proceeded in ay awkward sort of run towards the beach. If there's one that dry's you better then anything else it's the sun on a hot summers day. I staggered over and slumped down into a chair, relaxing and closing my eyes, letting the sun dry me. This really was the life.
