Hello it's the anonymous writer bring you a amazing storie. This week I am going to write you the history of apple. Enjoy!
Apple was established on April 1, 1976, by 3 blokes called Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. But only Ronald Wayne created the first apple computer. It was designed to be a personal computer for the community. They called it the Apple I. It went on sale on July 1976 for $666.33.If you were to buy it today it would cost $2,732. Apple was incorporate in 1977 unfortunately without Ronald Wayne so he sold the apple I to Steve jobs and Steve wozniak. Then a man called mike markkual decided to donate $250,000 to the apple business.
April 16 1977 the Apple II was made it was first introduce at the first west coast computer fair. Nearly all the computer creators at the fair were amazed that the apple II did not have a cassette tape or a hard drive it had a 5 ¼ inch floppy drive. It was used as a hard drive or a storage device back then. A company called VisiCalc decided to create a program for the Apple II. It was designed to make the Apple II look like a better start up and to look more like a home office.
May 1977 Apple got more employees to work for the apple business. Apple Inc got bigger and better. Then the Apple III was created but the apple III didn't go on the market until late 1980. It was because the design got marked up and the computers weren't going well. When it went on the market it was a complete failure not much people bought it.
1978 Steve Jobs began working on the Lisa apple but he got pushed out of his job by the Lisa team due to infighting. Jobs took over then Jeff Raskin (the Macintosh team) decided to make the first Macintosh. A race broke out between them to see witch creation would go on the market first. The Lisa team one. 1983 The Lisa apple was the first personal computer sold to the public with a processor, but it was a commercial failure due to its high price tag and limited software titles.
1984 Apple next launched the Macintosh in to the market. Its debut announced that apples $1.5 million television commercial in was the most popular TV ad on TV 1984. The Macintosh sold very well but due to the limited amount of software they decided to introduce LaserWriter, the first PostScript laser printer and PageMaker. On an early desktop publishing package.
1989 Apple introduced the Macintosh Portable it was designed to be just as powerful as a desktop Macintosh, but weighed a bulky 7.5 kilograms with a 12-hour battery life. It was really good if you were traveling. The Macintosh Portable was a big hit
In 1991 Just after the Macintosh Portable the apple PowerBook 100 was born. It was the first apple laptop apple had made. It was really popular it was the best laptop on the market everyone was buying it. It had a better battery life more programs and a lot more portable.
