Homework for Week 8, 24th of June

Hi Room 14,

This week there is no homework sheet or spelling as its another busy week.  For those of you presenting a competitive speech, you will share it with our class tomorrow as a practice and again on Wednesday and then the Winners will repeat it to Isel House on Thursday.  Then if you win these finals you will have a week to practice before performing it to the whole school.

Science Fair - I'm impressed by the quality of your work.  Judging is happening on Friday so you have until Thursday 2:45pm to finish your boards.  You will have lots of class time to complete these.  I suggest that if you are still decorating your board, you continue to work on this during your lunchtime.

1.  Sign your name in the comments section of this post.
2.  Read something of your choice, 10 - 15 minutes each night.
3.  10 - 15 minutes each night on Study Ladder

Have a great week,

Miss K.

  3. Hi Jessica W.,
I just wanted to check that you know I was just joking about you wanting to enter the draw twice :-) … I've done the same on the blog as well.
    See you on Monday,

  4. Hi all you awesome Room 14 students,
I can't believe that you are two weeks away from holidays and then only have two terms till the end of the year! I have missed you all so much and have been thinking of you throughout what must have been crazy busy times with Science Fair and Speeches along with everything else. So you would have heard that I finally ended up having my baby, Jared Bradley Matthewson on 12 June. I love him so much and am so proud to be his mum already. I am still recovering so I am not dancing with him yet, but look forward to being able to. Jared and I will come and visit you next term and will be wanting to hear what you have been up to at school and during you holidays.
Remember - Keep safe, work hard, and strive for personal excellence in all that you do!
    Kindest Regards
    Mrs M
