Hello room 14 i am sure by now you were probably getting worried that i wouldn't be giving you anymore riddles well here i am :)
Riddle number 1: A magician was boasting one day at how long he could hold his breath underwater. His record was 6 minutes. A kid that was listening said "that's nothing i can stay underwater for 10 minutes using no types of equipments or air pockets!" The magician told the kid if he could do that he'd give him $10,000. The kid did it and won the money. Can you figure out how?????
Riddle number 2:What animal keeps the best time???
Riddle number 3:Why should you always carry a watch with you when crossing the desert???
Riddle number 4:I can sizzle like bacon
I am made with an egg
I have plenty of backbone, but lack a good leg
I peel layers like onions, but still remain whole
I can be long like a flagpole, yet fit in a hole
WHAT AM I ??????
and lucky last Only one colour but not one size
Stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies
Present in sun, but not in rain
Doing no harm, and feeling no pain
WHAT IS IT?????

ReplyDeletePlease remember that this blog is a public forum which means anyone can view these posts. Part of blog protocol (tikanga) is that you should never allow your emotions to rule your writing. When you are online its important it remember that the reader cannot see your faces, which means its easy for feelings to be hurt and people to become upset with each other from written text. I have removed your last two comments as they appeared that you were grumpy with each other. If you two really do have an issue with each other, then come and talk with me so we can resolve it.
Mystery Riddler, you are welcome to take the credit for being the first to post riddles but I would like to suggest that you both give each other credit for the fine job of 'firing up' our brains and encouraging our creative thinking and problem solving ability. :-)
I don't know about the rest of Rm 14, but I enjoy checking on the blog and mulling over your questions.
