Week 5 Homework

Welcome back to school Rm 14.

I hope you had a lovely long weekend.  Good luck with the Cross Country on Friday!  You'll be amazing!

Your homework this week is:

1.  Complete your homework sheet which will be marked next Monday.

                                             All other homework is due on Friday.
2.  Spelling - practice your spelling words - you can choose to write them out or use our online Spelling
     website.

3. Read each night.

4.  Maths:  10+ minutes each day on Study Ladder.

5.  Science:  Choose your question, publish your hypothesis, publish your method and gather your equipment needed for your experiment (I will explain what these terms mean on Wednesday).  You need to have paid for your Science board by Friday.  Science boards cost $7.50 each so if you are in a group of 3 then you only need to pay $2.5 per person.  You need to give me the money.  You will carry out your experiments at home but can use some class time to publish some of your information.  Your Science Fair project may take mean you take longer than 1/2 hour to complete your homework.  The better the Science Fair project, the more effort you need to put into it.  Good luck!  I'm looking forward to seeing what amazing things you discover.

6.  Art - remember that you need to finish your work by Thursday for Miss Packer.  (This is extra to the 1/2 hour of homework that I'm giving you).

7.  Get someone else to comment on our blog.  

Please remember that if you have no or little internet access then you are welcome to 'book' a time to complete your homework in class.  :-)
