Week 4 Homework

Welcome to Week 4.

We only have 4 more weeks before camp!  I'm getting excited, are you?  We've got a busy week planned - 3 way conferences today and Wednesday and then Winter Tournament on Thursday and Friday.  This week you are also going to continue to finish your Matariki art.

Camp:
Please bring a can of fruit to school and if you didn't bring either a cereal or spread please ask your parents nicely and bring them by Friday.

Homework:
No spelling due to W.T.  Your homework sheet will be due Friday 30th of August.  Maths - I'll talk with you tomorrow about Mathletics - there are some great prizes to be won.
All you have to do this week is read - something of your choice.

Art/Winter Tournament

If you are not involved in Winter Tournament then I have planned a very cool art activity that is meant to take us 7-8 hours!  I've also got some other fun things planned for us.  By Wednesday you each need to bring 2-3 clean, empty cans (e.g. coke, lemonade or even a beer can.)  They can't be crushed - we'll do that in class.  Here's the link so you can check out what I'm planning for us to do.  Didier Triglia Head Cans  You also need to bring some OLD clothes that can be covered in paint!  I'm going to be wearing my 'painting' clothes (old ripped trousers and a huge tee-shirt) overtop of my normal clothes.
