Homework for Week 2

Monday:

Read & write - Go to our blog and read your post and one other person's to your parents / caregivers. 

Maths - times table sheet

No Spelling today

Tuesday:

Read - something of your choice

Maths - 5 - 10 minutes Study Ladder 

Spelling - look, cover, write and check each spelling word 5 times.  Use scrap paper.

Art - start Art homework - remember it is due each Thursday

Wednesday:

Spelling - 5 - 10 minutes on Spelling City.  Play 'Test and Teach'.

Art - continue your art homework

Maths - work some more on your times table sheet

Read - either Room13, Room 15, Room 17 or Room 5's blogs and comment on one of the posts.  You must tell them one thing you learnt or enjoyed reading on their blog and ask one open question about that post.  (Remember - an open question can start with How?   What?  Why?  Who?  Where?  When?  An open question encourages conversation and doesn't give the other person the chance to answer with Yes or No.)

Thursday:

Spelling - look, cover, write and check each spelling word 5 times.  Use scrap paper.

Maths - 5 - 10 minutes Study Ladder 

Read - a magazine or newspaper article - it might be an article about a movie star, new type of car, a newspaper report about something happening in Nelson or something different.  I'm looking forward to hearing about it on Friday.  

Art - start new homework

Friday, Saturday and Sunday - it would be fantastic if you could read each day but if you are busy with sports etc. then I totally understand.
