Homework for Week 3

Welcome back to school Room 14,

We are going to have a great week.  Did you realise that we only have 5 weeks left before we go on camp?  Well done with the Math-a-thon; many of you did really well.  Next week we have 3-way conferences - I'd love to meet with you and your parents.  Please could you extend an invitation to them?  This is your chance to discuss your achievements and show some of your work.

Reminders:
*  Bring your P.E. uniform on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
*  Return your homework sheet / book on Friday.
*  If you have internet difficulties you are able to book a class computer to complete your online
    homework.
*  Please bring a spread or cereal to school by Friday for camp.

Week 3's homework:

1.  Finish your homework sheet - I will be marking it this Friday.  This is your second week to complete so it shouldn't be a problem to have it finished by Friday.

2.  Go to Rm5's blog, read and then comment positively on a 100 word challenge post.  You may like to answer their questions, suggest an alternative ending or tell them what you value about their writing.  You need to sign your first name and class number (not your pen name) at the end of your comment.

3.  Then create your own 100 word post - check out the 100 word challenge site - there is a photo of a man standing beside a huge footprint.  Once your paragraph is finished upload it onto our blog.  Be an inventive and creative as possible.  Aim for excellence!

4. Review your spelling words.

5.  Read a chapter or 15 pages of your book each night.

6.  Sign your name at the bottom of this post (this tells me who has read my post)

Have a great week,

Miss K.
